Position: Director, Client Services
Location: NYC - LES (hybrid, 3x in-office)
Employment Status: Full-time
Reports to: Senior Director/EVP, Client Services
Salary Range: $169,000-$178,000
POSITION SUMMARY:
As a Director on the Client Services team, you are responsible for overseeing managed campaigns (~5-30) for multiple brand clients (~5-15) with budgets ranging from $50K - $2M, or a large component of a single piece of business ($10M+), or a medium size piece of business ($6-9M). Directors typically oversee teams of 6-12 people at various levels (from Associate - Senior Manager), work cross-functionally (partnering daily with Strategy, Finance, Legal, Opps, and Product).
As a Client Services Director, you are responsible for the relationship and results for all brands under your leadership. In this role, you represent the expertise of Fohr, and will be expected to remain well-versed in all company thought leadership and provide strong POVs for the company, your team, and clients. At this level, we expect you to bring your own style and leadership to the table, be able to articulate how you do what you do, be curious and continue to grow and learn, and teach with passion and care.
Account Directors direct all client activity from scope to final results, delegate across team levels, work autonomously when needed across all aspects of the process, and hold the senior-most day-to-day relationship with clients. This role requires a strong understanding of the marketing mix and influencer marketing to guide the work, ask the right leading questions, pivot in the moment and to become a true client partner vs vendor to each brand.
Directors are responsible for understanding Fohr’s products entirely and utilizing them throughout the managed campaigns process. They are also tapped to contribute to the roll out of new tools/features, the evolution of them, ensuring their team’s expertise, ensuring client adoption, and selling SaaS business solutions to existing clients.
This role requires business acumen and financial literacy. Directors are fiscally responsible for their own book of business and will report on such in weekly forecasting meetings, while maintaining Salesforce. Each is given organic growth goals, product/tech goals, and will plan to support and grow new business clients. Directors, solo or in partnership with Associate Directors/Sr. Managers/Project Managers, are responsible for efficient margins through thoughtful maintenance of timelines, resource planning, invoicing and deliverable reporting. Directors will approve and/or write breakdowns and scoping documents.
Directors sit on the Client Senior Leadership Team amongst other Senior/Directors. They are expected to work with their peers to implement team-wide processes and ideals from the EVP of Client Services/Exec Team, and to propose improvements and efficiencies. Directors are similarly expected to maintain strong cross-functional relationships with department leads/Directors.
This role is expected to last several years and has a growth trajectory towards Senior Director. The Director, Client Services at Fohr is a high impact, senior leadership position designed for a strategic visionary who thrives at the intersection of brand storytelling and business growth. In this role, you aren't just managing accounts; you are architecting the future of influencer marketing for some of the world’s most iconic brands. Reporting to a Senior Director or EVP, you will serve as a pillar of the Services department, overseeing a sprawling book of business and mentoring the next generation of agency leaders. You will transition from being a trusted vendor to a vital business partner, deeply embedded in your client's success.
